What second hand gear costs
Most items here are listed at 40 to 60 percent of what they cost new, and the seller sets the price. Footwear is priced by the miles left in it, gear with visible wear is priced for that wear, and brands that hold their value are priced accordingly.
On top of the item price, postage is a flat $5.99, and the checkout shows the full total before you pay. If a price is close but not quite right, send an offer instead.
How buying here works
Open a listing, ask the seller anything you want to know, and pay through checkout. The seller posts the item, marks it shipped, and you rate them once it arrives. If something is wrong, the order is on record and support can see exactly what was agreed.
There is no bidding and no auction countdown. Just a price, an offer button, and a checkout.
Selling the gear you have stopped using
If you have kit sitting in a closet, listing it takes a few minutes: photograph it in daylight, say how much use it has had, set a price and publish. You can start a listing before you have an account and finish it when you are ready.
Sellers are paid through a connected payout account, and the fee is shown up front rather than deducted quietly afterwards.
